Artist Statement

I’ve always been interested in the effect that time has on the world around us. Whenever I’m in a city, I love walking by building sites that have been papered with torn and weathered posters, artwork atop artwork, until the torn pieces create their blend of ideas and memories. Photography is my first language and my interests in multiple exposures, montage, and photo transfers are inspired by those lonely street posters that continue to persevere despite infringement, neglect, weather, and the never- ending assault of time.
